I hope your week gets off to a good start. That weekend, when I read my old posts, I realized that I only talked about my blog. Don't worry guys, I have a life beside. It's true that I spend a lot of time on blogspot because I have just started, but I must be careful not to forget to study. I'm scared to know that the exams are coming soon, precisely next month. I have to begin the revisions now ! During the following month, I might take a break. I hope you will understand. I will not forget you, my dear readers, I promise.

These photos were taken by my boyfriend a week ago. For this outfit, I chose a beautiful tweed jacket I found in a little shop in Lausanne. I decided to pair it with a basic black dress from Mango. To me, the tweed jacket embodies the ultimate class.

Hi everyone !

Waaaw it's already Friday ! Time runs so fast since I kept "The empire state of mind". I spend my days perfecting this blog. That week I learned on the internet how to build a good blog. The advice I found is very interesting. For example, you must have good content, high quality photos and especially be yourself. It seems obvious, but we don't always think about that. Having a blog takes a lot of patience because lots of people give up after a few months. So in this case, you must be persistent. With all my efforts, I hope you appreciate reading and discovering "The empire State of mind" :).

Yesterday I saw my friend Stéphanie to take these beautiful photos. The weather and the sky were perfect. For this outfit, I chose a gorgeous perfecto I bought during my trip in Paris. I love the golden details and at the end of the sleeves, there are small lovely studs. There are also my heels inspired by Chiara Ferragni shoes from Mango. As you can guess the centerpiece of this outfit is my bag, Louis Vuitton ! Oh Louis, I Love you.

Hi everyone !

Yesterday I created a new header for my blog. As you can guess, the title is from my favourite song, "The empire state of mind" (part II), interpreted by Alicia Keys. This music talks about New York, a place where everything is possible,"a place where dreams are made of" as said in the lyrics. NY is likewise call the city that never sleeps or the city of light. Everybody knows that it's also a city of fashion! So for my title, I decided to draw the shadow of NY and I added the big lights of the city behind. Et voilà ! I'm so proud of the result !

Being a beginner blogger, I created this blog to get closer to my passion. My dream is to make a living out of it. And who knows? Maybe one day, it will come true.

Hope you had a good week so far! I'm glad it's finally the weekend ! You should know that none of my friends know that I have a blog. "Why?" will you ask me. I am a discret person and I am very shy. But that week, I talked to a friend, Stéphanie, about The Empire State of Mind. And when I told her about that, I discovered that she also kept a blog. I told her that I would like to post photos more than once a week but it's difficult for my boyfriend and I to see each other often. And she said to me that she needs someone to help take pictures for her blog. After this discussion, I noticed that I need her as she needs me. And today we work together. The more I spend time with Stéphanie, the more I discover common points. A big thanks to Stéphanie for these photos.

For this outfit, I selected a white shirt whith a half bow from Mango. I don't know you but I love details like bows. I think that give a delicate and elegant touch. Do you agree with me?  I matched this with a simple black skirt and a black jacket without sleeves. And the key element, one of my favourite clutch!
